It is hard to believe that Sunday is the 6th Sunday of Easter and Thursday May 14th is the Solemnity of the Ascension of Jesus to the right hand of God the Father. Jesus said that if we love Him, we will keep the commandments. Piety is the gift of the Holy Spirit that helps us do just that, it helps us love God first, most and best! Then when we use the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit, we will bear the fruit of the Holy Spirit of joy. Glory and thanks be to God!
